There has been a lot in news about the shocking treatment of black people by American cops in recent months. It seems racism is alive and well north of the border too with Canadian law enforcement. It was recently revealed that many police officers in Canada are literally getting away with murder.
In Canada, racism and abuse are deep routed in law enforcement. Politicians have called for defunding reform in law enforcement across the country. This officer got suspended with pay for a year. What other profession in the world are you given a paid vacation for a year after committing a violent crime?
