On July 23rd, 2022, the Instagram account ‘fatfatmullycat’ showcased a series of six images featuring Milly the Cat. One notable image captured Milly amusingly sticking her tongue out while gazing at the camera (illustrated below, left). This endearing post garnered more than 6,500 likes within a month. Then, on August 5th, 2022, the same account introduced a meme crafted from that picture, humorously captioned, “i can act rather silly at times.” This post, a comedic twist on the original (seen below, right), attracted a whopping 32,900 likes in a month’s time.
